Previous river cleanup events in Georgia have been successful. However, they pale in comparison to the success that has been achieved by Rivers Alive. The following graphs illustrate how the cleanups have grown since conceived in 1992. Take note of the dramatic improvements witnessed in all areas since the 1999 unification of all statewide cleanup events under Rivers Alive.
